    Sara Heldt, M.D. is a board-certified dermatologist practicing in Southlake, TX.  She attended Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX where her interest in skin cancer began.  During her time there, she was actively involved in melanoma research at MD Anderson Cancer Center.  Dr. Heldt completed a residency at Georgetown University in Washington, DC, where she participated regularly in clinical care of melanoma patients in the Melanoma Center at Washington Hospital Center.  It was here that her knowledge of the disease and her relationships with patients provided her determination to work towards melanoma education for the public.  Dr. Heldt’s hope is to reach out to younger generations in an effort to decrease tanning bed use as well as increase sun protection awareness.

    Dr. Senzer serves as the Scientific Director for the Mary Crowley Cancer Research Centers and has nearly 100 publications in peer review journals with research interests including molecular biology, immunology and gene based therapeutics.  A Cum Laude graduate of Hofstra University and a graduate with honors of the State University of New York at Buffalo Medical School, Dr. Senzer did his internship and residency at the Johns Hopkins Hospital.  He was awarded a fellowship at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Pediatric Oncology and served a subsequent Residency in Radiation Oncology coordinated with Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.  Dr. Senzer has served as the Principal Investigator for several national oncology projects and is known for his work on translational and Phase I and II investigational studies.
